A Darling Girl Order and a Half

I picked up a few bits from Darling Girl during the Superbowl sale, and they just arrived!  Included in this is a separate, custom eyeshadow I'd pestered Susan into making ;)

I picked up petits of Bare Nekkid, Muddy Waters, and Vicar in a Tutu eyeshadows and Be Still My Heart blush ($2.25 each), a full size of Cyclops eyeshadow (my custom shade--now available--$5.50 for fs), and two tinted balms in Honey Love and Demure ($4.75 each).  Let's start with the lip balms!

I love the shades I selected!  They are very me colors.  Honey Love, in particular, I've worn everyday since its arrival.  I get my DG tinted lip balms in the second formula, which feels like it got a bit of a reformulation??  Whatever happened....it's even better!  Both of these are very creamy and last much longer than the previous versions.

Of course, I am really love my custom shade, Cyclops.  I had envisioned a sage-y green with a lavender shift for a while, and I am thankful Susan is always so receptive to custom shade ideas, no matter how busy she is.  I also love love love Bare Nekkid.  The swatch on the site doesn't do it justice!  It's a really beautiful champagne color...the finish is what's the kicker in this one.  Vicar in a Tutu is really pretty and very unique, but VERY sparkly, so maybe not the best for me, personally, but still really cool, kind of holographic shade.  Muddy Waters is...kind of odd.  A grayish brown with a strong blue shift.  I don't know if I like the blue shift just yet...we'll see.
